Without giving anything away, moments of love, humor, tragedy, and revelation combine to create one of the most compelling tales in indie games today. Players will form a group of heroes, each with extraordinary abilities, who travel the world to seek an end to the three kingdoms' war which rages across the continent. There's only one answer, and that's yes, Chained Echoes is brilliant. What's left is to look at the gameplay and whether it can entice players to remain and complete everything this ambitious JRPG offers. The game world is gorgeous there's a compelling story and plenty to explore and do within the vast continent of Valandis.
